Mechanical I MEC01 80 Hours
This introductory course is designed to provide the student with a foundation in mechanical engineering documentation. Topics of study include practices of technical sketching, geometric construction, Multiview drawings, dimensioning, sectional views, auxiliary views, and 3-D visualization.
Prerequisite: None
Mechanical II MEC02 65 Hours
This course is a continuation of Mechanical I and leads to a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and the application of Computer Aided Design and Drafting. Topics include the theory, technical skills, industrial applications, and practices of documenting mechanical parts and assemblies and producing pictorial drawings. Students will also build bills of material, draw subassemblies, standard parts, and fasteners and further practice the dimensioning of mechanical parts.

Applied Mathematics CGR01 25 Hours
This course covers the fundamentals of arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry and geometry with applications to technical drawings. Students will be able to work with vectors and geometric properties, perform calculations, and draw charts and graphs.

AutoCAD Level I CGR02 44 Hours
The student is introduced to the fundamentals of AutoCAD 2-D drawing. Students will also work with the Dialog Box, Units, Styles, Scales, Text, and Dimensioning. Upon completion the student will exhibit a working knowledge of the basic drawing and editing commands and create simple multi view drawings.

MEC02 or Design Background
AutoCAD Level II CGR03 44 Hours
This hands-on training class concentrates on intermediate to advanced 2-D AutoCAD concepts and commands and is designed to increase productivity. The class focuses on advanced drawing and editing techniques. Students will practice advanced editing, work with attributes, data exchange, and external referencing. Advanced dimensioning and blocks are taught extensively, expanding on the methods of execution and manipulation. Upon completion the student will be able to gain significant efficiency in creating and editing 2-D drawings and set drafting standards.
Prerequisite: CGR02 or Industry Experience
AutoCAD Level III CGR04 32 Hours
This introductory course is designed to provide the student with a foundation in mechanical engineering documentation. Topics of study include practices of technical sketching, geometric construction, Multiview drawings, dimensioning, sectional views, auxiliary views, and 3-D visualization.

Inventor I CGR06 21 Hours
This is a hands-on foundation course covering the use of Autodesk Inventor software to create, edit, and print parts, assemblies, and drawings. This software is an advanced tool in mechanical solid modeling. Students will work with basic 2D sketch features and profiles, file management system, 2D shape constraints, and Boolean operations, extruded, revolved, and shelled features. Additional topics include Placed Features such as parametric holes, fillets, chamfers, assembly modeling, and organizational methods. Upon completion, the participant will demonstrate a basic working knowledge of three dimensional parametric feature based solid modeling.

Inventor II CGR07 21 Hours
This introductory course is designed to provide the student with a foundation in mechanical engineering documentation. Topics of study include practices of technical sketching, geometric construction, Multiview drawings, dimensioning, sectional views, auxiliary views, and 3-D visualization.
Prerequisite: CGR06
AutoCad Training
Inventor III CGR08 21 Hours
This class focuses on the surface modeling capabilities of Inventor. Participants will learn to create and manipulate surfaces, thicken a surface to create a solid part, stitch multiple faces, intersect faces and parts, and perform face analysis.
